Our newest program to be launched by the Cowan Wellness Center is sports medicine and athletic rehabilitation. We are now introducing ONDAMED and the Flex Applicator for healing sports injuries.

The Flex Applicator is the latest invention of Dr. Rolf Binder, also the inventor of the Ondamed, which has been on the market for 10 years as a rehabilitation device with remarkable results.

The Flex Applicator allows Ondamed to work with deep areas of the body including bones, ligaments and dense muscle and tissue. This applicator enables the practitioner to treat sports injuries effectively reaching those areas where injuries take place and become more difficult to treat such as dense bone and muscle injuries.

During the first session the Doctor finds the frequencies that are needed to heal the patient. The Flex applicator is connected to the ONDAMED device and the cord is basically wrapped around the injured area, and then the healing begins!

We have been conducting a pilot study with a Retired Yankee pitcher who suffered a rotator cuff injury and was unable to pitch anymore. After 16 treatment sessions with ONDAMED he was able to resume relief pitching pain-free! We are very excited about the prospects for other athletes and sports teams wanting relatively fast healing of sports injuries.
